Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located in a peaceful setting, just a short covered passage away from the main building. The rooms, although dark, were warm and quiet. While some amenities like soap were lacking, the overall experience felt safe and cozy.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very nice but a bit dated; however, the views over the golf course were stunning. The bed was incredibly comfy, and there was plenty of space in the room. On the downside, the room overlooked kitchens and backyards and had a noticeable damp and moldy smell, which was quite unpleasant.
The St Andrews suite was excellent and a must for afternoon tea. The public areas had been cosmetically updated with crushed velvet headboards, armchairs, and curtains, which were nice. The service, especially from Joan and Jack, excelled at making our stay memorable and enjoyable for a family wedding, delivered to a high standard.
