The hotel is conveniently located in a peaceful setting, just a short covered passage away from the main building. The rooms, although dark, were warm and quiet. While some amenities like soap were lacking, the overall experience felt safe and cozy.

6.2/10
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very nice but a bit dated; however, the views over the golf course were stunning. The bed was incredibly comfy, and there was plenty of space in the room. On the downside, the room overlooked kitchens and backyards and had a noticeable damp and moldy smell, which was quite unpleasant.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were very nice but a bit dated. The views over the golf course made up for it, and the bed was really comfy with plenty of space.
Service
5.0
The service was a mixed bag. While some staff members were friendly and helpful, others seemed poorly trained, bordering on rudeness. They promised maintenance for a broken chair but never followed through.
Location
6.0
The location of the hotel was pleasant, with a large pool and clean changing area. However, it was disappointing to be relocated due to a wedding function, and the overcharging for drinks left a sour note.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience had its ups and downs. The breakfast was very good and kept me full for most of the day. However, there were inconsistencies in charges; some items were included while others were unexpectedly charged.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent, but there were some issues with the upkeep and pricing. The availability of certain amenities did not meet expectations.

8.0/10
The St Andrews suite was excellent and a must for afternoon tea. The public areas had been cosmetically updated with crushed velvet headboards, armchairs, and curtains, which were nice. The service, especially from Joan and Jack, excelled at making our stay memorable and enjoyable for a family wedding, delivered to a high standard.
Rooms
9.0
The rooms were excellent, especially the St Andrews suite, a must for afternoon tea.
Service
9.0
The service, including the very young chap who proudly poured wine without spilling it, was exceptional. Joan and Jack went above and beyond to make our stay memorable for the family wedding.
Location
7.0
The location could have been better regarding fan and towels, but it was lovely. The inside was dated and needs refurbishing, but the external supplier by Nina was very comfortable.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was satisfactory, though the breakfast options under a heat lamp for hours were not ideal. Organic products were appreciated.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were good, but better use could be made of the space. An on-course golf lesson with Pro Dean was a standout feature.
